Ophthalmologic cases and emergencies are generally worked up and treated by the internal medicine department under the direction of Dr. Rodney Belgrave. Ophthalmologic cases are also evaluated by a consulting board-certified ophthalmologist, who conducts clinics at the hospital twice a month on Saturdays.

A wide array of diagnostic ophthalmologic procedures are performed including ocular ultrasonography, tonometry and slit lamp assessment. Surgical procedures including conjunctival flap grafts are also performed.
