Due to the rapid growth of the camelid industry in New Jersey, MAEMC now offers comprehensive veterinary coverage for camelid owners in the area.  Ambulatory services include routine herd health, reproductive and prepurchase evaluations, and emergency services.

The internal medicine department offers both outpatient appointments and emergency coverage, including treatment and supportive care of high-risk hembras and neonates.

The surgery department at MAEMC also offers both routine outpatient appointments such as evaluation of digital radiographs, as well as emergency coverage including the treatment of fractures and Caesarean sections.
