The internal medicine department offers a wide array of state of the art diagnostics that aid in the diagnosis of the critically ill patient. Such diagnostics include digital radiography, myelography, upper and lower respiratory tract endoscopy, lower urinary tract endoscopy and gastroscopy. Ultrasonography of internal organs to aid in the diagnosis of diseases affecting the lungs, liver, kidneys, and spleen is facilitated by The GE Vivid 7 ultrasound, considered top of the line in diagnostic ultrasound imaging. The department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, central nervous and urinary system. 

The department is directed by Dr. Rodney Belgrave, a board-certified internal medicine specialist.
